Yongtai was also designated the permanent site of the convention, with Umberto Solimene, secretary-general of the World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy, saying that its hot spring industry is headed in the right direction, integrating its hot spring with tourism and the health industry.
Solimene went on to say, "The advanced development concept and proper direction helped the federation choose Yongtai as a permanent site for the hot spring development convention. The hot spring industry is more than just a recreation and needs to be combined with tourism and the health business, for example, by building housing for the elderly and providing healthcare, with strategy playing a vital role."
Yongtai county has abundant hot springs with medicinal value, he pointed out, adding that World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy experts will provide professional guidance for its further development.
