China has too many people and too many cars already.
The additional vehicles (trucks/cars/motorcycles) will only increase the everyday pollution.
First tier cities at least have good public transportation - subways/buses.
Second tier cities are jammed with traffic daily and that is now becoming an issue in third tier cities.
China SHOULD be going more towards electric vehicles, not oil-based.
Inventing BETTER batteries for the worldwide electric auto industry would be a boom for China.
It won't help with road congestion, BUT it would help its people breathe easier.
Developers SHOULD be addressing issues regarding insufficient parking/garages in residential gardens.
If every homeowner has a car there should be a place for it and NOT block others from accessing theirs.
