"My Canadian friend, Claire, came with me from Fuzhou to attend today’s party because today is my birthday. The party is terrific and I’m enjoying every minute of it,” said Rachel, an American who works at a kindergarten in Fuzhou.

Another woman, called Mina, said, “It is my fifth time to attend Xiamen’s beach party. I enjoyed myself every time and made friends with people from around the world. It’s unfortunate that these kinds of parties are only available in Xiamen. I really hope Fuzhou can host these activities in the future.”
On May 11, a similar party was held on the beach near Asia Gulf Hotel in Xiamen.
