Malaysian food Asam Laksa.png

Asam Laksa is very authentic Malay food.
It's made with FISH SOUP, and added with the ASAM fruit (or herb) to give us a SAVORY sweet, sour soup rice noodles meal. It's very tasty when added with cucumber, pineapple and of course a FUJIEN Clan addition - FISH SAUCE to improve it's taste.

Try it on your next visit to Malaysia!

Malaysian food Mee Rebus.jpg

This dish is called "MEE REBUS", or in translation "pasta blanched".
It's an amazing tasty dish. Not very sure the ingredient BUT I believe it's a rich concoction of Malay herbs, in bone soup thicken with potato mesh.

It's creamy, VERY DELICIOUS. The Malay chef adds BOILED EGGS, and some TOFU BITS (The Chinese influence) for protein, and garnishes of fried onions, fresh green chillies. It appears to be quite difficult to find in Central Malayan region but should be available in Johor, Pahang.

Looking for the it would be fun.

cheerios!
