Over the last decade, China has played an active and constructive role on world stage. China has done more than any other economy to pull the world out of recession. As a strong supporter of UN peacekeeping operations, China has so far dispatched some 21,000 peacekeepers, the most among the five UN Security Council permanent members. On the Korean Peninsula issue, China has played a responsible part in facilitating the Six-Party Talks which are conducive to regional security. On the Syrian issue, China has always maintained an objective position and made active efforts to encourage dialogue that are aimed at resolving the Syrian issue through peaceful means.

Together with international community, China is also playing a constructive role in addressing issues of global concerns over climate change, environment, food and energy security. What role do you expect a rising China should play in global affairs? Will China take more responsibility in global affairs? Please share you views with us.

I think the government should focus on her own problems at home and pushing forward to develop the economy.

That is the first priority.

What role should China play in global affairs?
They should support and foster communism in other countries like the capitalists support and foster the spread of capitalism.
There are a lot of poor countries who could become communist allies of China with a little support.
The capitalists have stolen resources from many small countries only to leave behind evil big business religions to keep
the people poor, powerless, and ignorant.
These countnies would soon see how much better adopting a socialist form of government would be for the vast majority
of the people.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

While I'm just as nostalgic for the old Cold War jockeying of geopolitical power between "Capitalist West" and "Communist East," I hardly think China could refer to itself as communist. State capitalist would be the label I would apply to China. The old Soviet Union was state capitalist (as described by Lenin himself) in its nature, though socialist in name. This model has been better managed by Chinese leadership.

So really, China can look to foster its unique model for success in other developing nations as an alternative to dependence on foreign aid from the West (which does more harm than good). Perhaps supplement infrastructure investments with teams of state economic advisors?
