It is under the CPC’s leadership that China has overcome many challenges in its economic, political and social systems and achieved remarkable progress the world has ever seen. Under the CPC’s leadership, China has become the world’s largest second largest economy. People’s lives have greatly improved, and hundreds of millions of people have been lifted out of poverty, an objective fact no one can deny. At the same time, China is quickly becoming a major player on the world stage. As a responsible nation, China has been playing a growing role and shouldered greater responsibilities in world affairs.

Such achievements, especially for a nation with a size equaling to a continent and a population of nearly 1.4 billion, are not easy to make.  What roles do you think CPC has played in China? Do you think it’s the CPC leadership that has made China’s economic miracle possible? Is there any room for improvements for the future role of CPC? What challenges will lie ahead for the future leadership of CPC? Please share your opinion with us.

All the credit for saving China for the Chinese people belongs to Mr. Mao and the CPC he founded.
China's wealth belongs to the Chinese people and not western imperialists much to the chagrin of
these imperialists. You need only look at all the negative propaganda against China spread on this
forum to see the bitterness of these losers.

Going forward the CPC has its biggest challenge in decades.. to be the first 'first world' nation to make
the successful transition from the capitalist phase of communism to the truly socialist phase.
China will be breaking new ground in the history of the world. It involves the well being of the future
world population. The industrial base is in place, the nation has a huge budget surplus, and the citizens
are educated. With modern communications and information management now available time is ripe
for the transistion. State owned enterprises have a huge advantage in the economy of scale.
It should be obvious to anyone that slow, steady progress for everyone is far superior to outrageous
wealth for a very few at the expense of vast majority.
As the world has made impressive advances in technology in the past century it is time to make
equally impressive advances in social order in the coming century. China is in the best position
to be 'leading edge' in this endeavor and lead the world be example. With a strong defense there
will be no need for war, the world will follow a strong and fair lead.
Nations long mired in capitalism are failing as the the vast majority are suffering more and more
at the hands of the obscenely rich. Capitalism's fatal flaw is it's tendency to concentrate more and
more wealth to fewer and fewer people.
It is time for China, lead by the CPC, to progress socially as no other country has yet to do.

If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

This is not going to be answer that some folks will like but... {deep breath} ... the one major role that the CPC plays in Chinese Society more and more, like "Republicans"/Warlords and Emperors of old, is excuse.

An excuse that citizens can use, much like those that lived under monarchs, tyrants, dictators, and oligarchs, when something negative is affecting the country (even something that was self inflicted) there is "no one to blame, but {fill in blank}".  Worse yet is abducation of personal, family, and any other sort of responsibility - because there is the excuse that {fill in the blank} is in charge, let he/she/them deal with it.

Think what some may about what has occured elsewhere in the world - those groups that have reduced the number of excuses in how to interact with their governments, or even participating in their governments, have seen the less issues - regardless of the amount of interaction and/or participation, if any, actually occurs.  For with no excuses available - blame is shared equally and with just reason.
