The Arable land supplies food, Logistics allow trading of commodities, products.

The Mediterranean Sea was crucial to develop trade in Ancient Europe. The earliest seafarers benefited from small coastal sailing boats and the distribution of commodities, products from caraven trains from Niger, Nanyang and China.

The SCALE of China made it possible to build massive PORCELAIN, SILK, TEA factories, for export to the WESTERN WORLD. Domestically, the same FRESH WATER logistic system allowed trading as diverse as ICE, seafood-beans sauces, SALT, fruits, livestock.
