The UAV project would mean purchases from

.............BAE massive components and technology.

The Avionics, the nose cone radar - can come from one of many BAE-JV companies in Europe. Just like Pratt & Whitney, GE or BAE engines components nowadays are sub contracted out to Asian States.

BAE can also supply their FLY BY WIRE

..............system for the SINGAPORE-NEW ZEALAND UAV project. (with collaborative partners in Taiwan, Thailand, Malaya and Hong Kong)

Such systems is better purchased, rather then REDEVELOPED from scratch.
We can see the UAV programme is a MASSIVE technological development. Regional, International cooperation is needed to make it viable.

Singapore SHOWCASES it's AI and Nano sized

......................solid state technology via NTU (Nanyang Technological University) new ROBOT named NASH.

The SEEING, WALKING, LISTENING robot was displayed yesterday and reported in the state's media today!
Rather impressive, as such technologies is needed for the UAV + Dock Ship expeditionary project.

Not all the technologies needed for the Singaporean-New Zealand UAV programme need to be developed in Singapore - as that would make the system very costly - perhaps only the more critical applications!

You are an illegal immigrant from the UK who took the land from its rightful Native New Zealander owners.

Um, nope, I was born in NZ so I fail to see how that makes me an immigrant. I also fail to see how that's on topic.

The Singapore and New Zealand's

.................Defense Science Organization's national laboratories will be the LEAD MANAGER for any such UAV programmes together with ST-Kinetics as contractors and fabricators.

The Defense community in the British Commonwealth have quite similar structures - The New Zealand-Singapore compact will provide competition to the BRITISH "Tiranis" while UK's own BPD 13 billion "A2 Hypersonic Craft" project will provide Singapore and New Zealand some side "benefits" in "leading edge" materials.
