Captain Matthew!
It felt funny at first, but it's actually possible to build a low cost expeditionary force!

Just a dockship with flat tops, and we can load 50 units or more UAV's - with high engine thrust/weight ratios, even after burners! This is for Air Cover support on long distant expedition, beyond 1,000km from Singapore's shores!
Add in Stealth features, create 4 classes of UAV's,
Bomber UAV's, Fighter UAV's, Reconnaissance UAV's, Command/Control - countermeasure UAV's!

A small ship, like the 15,000 Tonne Dockships would do wonders!
Low cost units!
Using remote control, for the bomber - just automatic location finding, using some kind of ground mapping positioning system - we have bombers!

With UAV fighter, it should use encryption, high speed data bubbles transfer with 2 or more AAM, and Rapid fire Cannons!

Cheerios!

Singapore can also build it's own ASAT, ABM systems!

Using the squadrons of F-15's, we can build ROCKETS that can launch missiles into space to wipe out Satellites, rapid deploy spy mini satellite network, and even short term GPS military network - valueable during war times!

The same missile can target incoming intercontinental, long range missile warheads!
While the Patriot ABM system will do the last 100km defense system!

Maybe if we can build a small size Geostationary Targeting Satellite - we can even deploy LASER GUN satellites to knock out Satellites and Missile War head over the Singapore!

Cheeerios!

Of course it would need to be a "secret programme"!
International law don't allow deployment of weapons in space apparently to the advantage of BIG POWERs who must have secret programmes too!

ha ha ha

cheerios!

Singapore's latest mini satellite is only 120kg

.......and measures 60cm3! It was launch in year 2010!

Now, if only we can build an indigeneous rocket, that can be launch from the "underbelly" of a F-15!
We can do rapid deploy of a host of satellites!
Even deploy UAV in space with LASER GUNS!
When satellites gets as small as 120kg, THINK fuel cells for power - load it with a LASER, and have it a space based weapon system!

Small states are cool, if it's technological savvy!

cheerios!

It's harmless research, just to improve our own capability!

Wouldn't be very costly if it's a 10 year programme!
It could be a 15 unit mini satellite - emergency GPS system!
And maybe a double Spy, Targeting Satellite - with attack Space UAV to boot!

cheerios!

Singapore's 10 year military budget is about US$100 billion!

and the mini satellite only cost US$40 million to build and launch!
it will be cheaper once Singapore develop the UNDERBELLY launch rocket platform from under a F-15!

In fact, New Zealand could work with Singapore, since fellow small states!

cheerios!
