I met two Myanmar - Mandalay region people.

I talk Malay to them, only to get replied in English.
Their skin appearance is dark, but I was told inland Myanmar is hot, so people are dark skin rather than the fair skin in coastal Rangoon and the Chinese looking, quite pretty mountain people!

The Mandalayans seems to be pretty happy with China's investments as it would make their country wealthier!

Yes madam Con stance!

The Myanmarese are really mess up big time!
That's because Myanmar has big reserves of gas and some say crude oil,
It's also a backdoor for Sichuan to access the Indian Ocean, at the door of the busiest sea route straits in the world! Malaya-Singapore handles almost 50 m TEU equivalent (that would be manufactured goods) and much more in BULK and LIQUID commodities!

A lot of the GOOD THINGs in life comes via this important sea route!

The British Club, China, USA, France, Japan, Korea, Taiwan all knows how vital this route is for their quality of life!
