How SAVVY is a state in cultivating trust of varied population of a large state!

This is PRETTY CRITICAL in the BIG POWER games!

The natural way is for a diversity of culture to appear as a nation progresses (some people doubts that' such a change is progress - eg. North Korea! ha ha ha) and different  coalition appears in different parts of a large state's empire!

While Military is used to FORCIBLY CONTROL large territories, you cannot create prosperity without healthy and happy citizens. The British knew that, The Chinese Empire knew that, in fact, in strict cost/profit principals, large tracts of territories could be expensive to administer due to logistic cost, large security apparatus, and ease of foreign rivals to fester rebellion!

ha ha ha

I shall not rank the 5 powers for this criteria!

ha ha ha

Because it changes in varying degree by the ruling cliques!

If China decides to create a larger RMB zone, it might need military spending to spend all those extra mints!
and this benefit those provinces with poorer geological endowments or location!

ha ha ha

That's why China now has many SMILING DIPLOMATs, China needs as many friends as possible!

i disagree with wiki

china need to improve on SSBNs.

china only need more ocean nuke. nuke is only good on sub because it hard to stop them. they are wasteful and country only need 7 nuke to blow up most country.

improvement is growing faster then expect on military area. too fast for the liking of american liking. too slow for my liking. but i do have to think of spending.

the WW3 is already started. it not want normal people see. it down to the basic of human now.

china is winning is getting more money. and also cyber space. the only part it not close is the space in the sky. the tech know how is still in the USA and Russian basic. but it would that china about 10 year to land on the moon. the process is still to far.

This FACTOR is the RUSSIAN EMPIRE biggest obstacle now!

While they have taken INSURANCE for the Chinese strategic bid with the British in Mesopotamia oil fields, Russian Empire must feel worried about "cheap oil" from Mesopotamia could hurt it. Afterall the Russian economy is ENERGY INTENSIVE due to HUGE HEATING COST, gigantic rail network (due to a mostly land locked empire) and facing probably American Regime supported Black Sea, Baltic Sea access denial strategy! The Sino-British bid is mostly strategic in affecting the margin of foreign investment in the Mesopotamian oi fieldsl.

Russia, as it's true with states such as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Aztec zone must take advantage of CHINESE MANUFACTURED produced in massive quantity, at cost competitive prices for commodity products and durable to build up their own urban services and high tech sectors! (keeping inflation low).

China HUGE APETITE for commodities will pay for much of those imports! (ie. using the same strategy of the American Regime to gain larger GNP!!!!)

The American REgime now is OVER EXTENDED, and is doing adjustment to adapt to the new situation!
(over extension was the historical reason for the slow decay of many empires in the past, as we have seen with Napoleon or Hitler as a recent example!)

Doesn't matter how much you smile if you only smile at the wrong people, even you know this. China will inevitably become a great power, but, she has much more to do in order to attain this goal, one of which things includes gaining trust. Right now, I'd surmise that very few trust China and even the leadership in Beijing must realise this because it ain't rocket science. Transparency is the key and there is very little now, in China.

Still no objectivity huh WC? Why you are allowed to remain is beyond many of us.  I can make objective comments without you replying negatively. This from a man who advocates jihad and yes, it probably means against the Chinese people too. You disguise your agenda but, I can see through you, how's that for transparency! Get used to it moron!
