It's rather interesting observation of the 7-eleven stores in Shanghai.....

....is a extreme copy of the Japanese store, in that PREPARED FOOD for breakfast, lunch and even dinner is the main sales items.

which would mean, FOOD CENTREs, Restaurants will have less business - maybe it's due to high land prices (priority of Yangtze people are different)
in comparison 7-eleven store in Hong Kong sells titbits, and their biggest item is probably PRINTED MEDIA, SOFT DRINK, and groceries.

In Malaya, i think it must be SOFT DRINKs, ICE CREAM, FLAVOURED SNOW DRINKS and titbits are the major items.

It's rather fun to travel and see difference in culture.

In France, i notice LUNCH is often from...

..the PASTRY SHOPs, which provide sandwiches. The coffeeshop serves COFFEE, TEA and BEERS, rather more than food.

Probably, it's because of high cost of a proper restaurant meals in Paris.

so, abnormal high prices of land, property could cause that.
In Penang, in Malaysia, because of low working salaries, FOOD CENTREs, and HAWKERs are plenty while restaurants numbers are much fewer.

It's got to do probably with the culture of the local people, mostly in manufacturing (thus the pressure to have lower wages).

......it's really the prerogative of the RESIDENT of each province to choose their lifestyles, and what industry to specialized in.

cheerios!

...Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai will be a great help to improve lifes in the interior, by providing jobs, markets.

So, we are all in agreement, harmoniously.

A basic flaw in your argument ...

Yeah,i know what you said

But we must keep some sure plowland that live on it

It provides us the rice, the flour, wheat, bean and so on

Don't you think we should keep a certain speed to develop it?

i am from Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia.

We have 5 different lifestyles in our region.
In the Malaya-Borneo-Singapore region, we have quite a diverse range of lifestyles.

only that it felt strange to see what i saw in a city centre,
heck, we have the same problem in "inner city" in New York....

ha ha ha

So, it's really not completely fair to say.

Alas!

BUT FOR THE NEEDS of the Interior provinces of China......
SO, change is needed in Zhejiang, Jiangsu......YOU MUST MAKE IT A BIG CONSUMPTION CENTRE and transfer assembly work inland!

cheerios!
