Now, Mr. Obama, did he manage to EFFECTIVELY launch the stimulus programme, especially BACK TO WORK programme.

If I am not wrong, by May, the first batch of those "laid off" in October 2008 (due to banking credit lines stalling) should be hitting the Amerikan Regime's economy. If inactivity to help this first batch ......to January (additional 2.6 million workers, compare to the normal level of unemployed 2.5 million normal reports, and the unemployable of another 2 to 3 million or so)

This will be another round of deflationary impact on home prices, even car demand (due to confidence problem) and more banking problems.

However, in ASIA, countries like China, Malaya, Vietnam will see revival in business.

and Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore will see exports revival to the assembly states, and even some higher value products export to the key developed countries such as EU, USA and British Club.

and it will also help resources exporting states in Africa, Asean (mainly Indonesia, Malaysia), Latin America and even India (iron ore and cotton yarn).

China stimulus seems to be working as (if Mr. Mark Wu is accurate, electricity consumption is up back to near normal, on month to month comparison basis), it should be putting some of the unemployed back to work.

The Malayan government ought to relax it's foreign worker policies...

....if there is sign of global trade pattern recovery, so that the Malayan Manufacturing and Assembly industry can recover easier from the slump in October 2008 to January 2009. It takes time to change the economy to a higher labour cost.

I don't think we need so many foreigner in the services sector in the Central region, though...unless the 4 D, dirty, dangerous, demeaning, difficult jobs are shunned by local workers.

cheerios!

While increasing beef and dairy production output, in China....

...could be an option, if the grasslands of Ti-bet can be used....to reduce the need for corn or other grain used in pork, chicken broiler production. Increase from 8mt to 12 mt of beef could save some grain! (alas, nowadays they use corn to fatten cattle before slaugher, so wonder about the eficacy)....maybe Mr. Da Zhou can help?

I just got to figure this out.

(How come the Manzhu government did not expand the beef production when it was beef, industrial production that propel the Europeans at the same period. Why did they opt for OPIUM industry instead from 1680 onwards....strange?)

note: it's the year of the bull anyway, must look at beef production, ha ha ha
