Yes, Fujien and some Hakka people, Hai San alliance.|
The INDUSTRIOUS FUJIENESE has build a lot of industries clusters, eg. Food industry (Halal Hub logical location) in Malacca, Refineries along the Malacca-Port Dickson coastal road, Furniture factories in Muar cluster, Textiles, Garments, cookies in the Batu Pahat clusters, in Segamat a lot of process industries. There are also electronic assembly industry.
In the Hai San towns, there are amenities like bowling centres, cinemas, hypermarkets, and lots of lots of industries....cheap land.
You can build a mansion in Batu Pahat for less than M$250,000....you'll only get a small 900sq. ft. hole in the sky in Kuala Lumpur for the same.
and there's lots of kampung lots, too small for farming, only 1.5 - 3 acre, which can be subdivided and sold to create marvellous suburban homes. Roads are metalled and paved. I reckon the Riau and Patani suburban sprawl will be home to at least 4.0 million people about 50% of the Central region's 8.5 million people.
