The series of strange events by the ruling "National Front", seems to "handing the federal government" to the Pakatan Rakyat coalition.

First was the PETROL PRICE rise, US$0.85 per litre, a nation with 7 million cars...
practically every family in Malaysia owns a car...
a nation with a average per capita of US$7,000....

landing Malaysian with a bill of  US$8.5 billion in an economy with a consumer spending power worth US$100 billion, or almost 8.5% of the people's income. Then

a whacker 26% rise in electricity tariff......already at US$0.7 per kwh
and a natural gas price doubling.....at least that's what i think.

It does seems the BARISAN NATIONAL government wants to hand power with PAKATAN RAKYAT if Mr. Anwar wins the by elections.

gosh!

What's going on?

..and enriching the coffers of state run..

..and large corporates via the price rises, mainly TENAGA, PETRONAS.

while the world economy has been kind to Malaysia, with it's PALM OIL commodity companies worth more US$20 billion.

Why the terrible greed?

the people are hurting, and it's all RACES, not a tiny little group of politicians.

It's rather interesting, increased majority in Permatang Pauh....

....Voting district P-44!

ha ha ha

It rained heavily on polling day, 26th August 2008.
it was a public holiday.

today, we had lots of flowering tree all over my housing estate of USJ, Subang Jaya!

Wow!

Now, Malaya has reached a new ERA. Progressive ERA and harmonious as well.

I think the next move by the Riau's and the Patani's is obvious...
The Riau would recover CENTRAL MALAYA support, maybe Mr. Chan Kong Choy, Mr. Lee Kim Sai, Mr. Chui Jui Meng would make a comeback with Mr. Ong Ka Ting. The Riau would need the Central Support definately!

The Patani would use PKR to make inroads into NATIVEs region.  Especially tough is the anger in Sabah, and some of the native Sarawakians.

Of course, we would see RIAU and PATANI building up the suburban sprawls in the respective region thus ensuring the base support is protected.

ha ha ha

Good results!

note: The only strange result, is that in the Hai San outpost of Penang, both the PRIME MINISTER and the OPPOSITION LEADER belong there!
