Should energy prices continues to rise, China might have to follow the Koreans, Europeans long ago "figured out".
How to remain efficient, while using less energy!
that would have the impectus of needing lesser fossil fuel, and less vehicles movements.

thus, 5 DAY WORK WEEK in administrative offices.
shorter working hours per day to save on air conditioning/heating,
shorter retailing hours?

We would beat the high crude oil prices.

Do you expect a resting society?

Then all were stagnated sooner.
