Well, at least a big part of the problem is solved.

Now the Rt. Hon. Badawi is talking about improving the condition in the Northern Central town of Ipoh. There is going to be a new expressway from Kampar to Ipoh!  A new economic corridor in Ipoh will reduce the decline of the Chinese population which has moved primarily to the Klang Valley metropolis leaving Kinta Valley a industrial and agricultural centre for the CENTRAL REGION.

yeah!

50% of the representatives in the ruling coalition purged?

It seems strange to have such HIGH LEVEL of purging in the RULING COALITION.

Yesterday, there was earthquake in Sumatra which radio reports indicates also shoke the CENTRAL and Penang/Johor region.
Today, the skies turn grey, with forest fire haze and relatively traffic free.

Some momentous decisions has been made, the heavens don't seem happy.

It might affect the votes in the CENTRAL REGION.....

While the loyalty of the Fujien community is ....

.....always soughted by the ruling NATIONAL FRONT coalition due to fear of "alliance" with Singapore.

The hard work of the Coalition has always concentrated in the 3 suburban, agricultural and the city of Penang.
There are 3 urban convulations of the FUJIEN COMMUNITY in Malaya.  These are the Penang City Island and its suburbs that starts from Georgetown and runs down to Taiping town, up to Alor Star. There is around 0.8 million people, mainly Fujien province.

The other urban convulation is from Malacca to Batu Pahat, here are another 0.6M people, while the Johor Baru city has the remaining 0.4 M.

As Johor-Pahang-Malacca is the STRONGHOLD of the UMNO riau community, and the threat of Singapore on the loyalty of the Fujien community in Malaya; the RULING COALITION has alway ensured the loyalty of the FUJIEN COMMUNITY especially in Johor state.

It does appear the opposition coalition....

,,,,is contesting in their own regions.

PAS announced that it's contesting in only 60 parliamentary seats, quite similar to DAP announcement of it's contest in mainly Chinese majority seats in Central, Patani, Riau regions. This leaves SNAP and PKR to pick and choose the remaining 100 odd seats!

The current opinion is that 60% of the vote will go to NATIONAL FRONT, and 40% of the vote to the OPPOSITION PACT.
