Isn't it time to ENFORCE  of minimum home size in Hong Kong.

Is getting ridiculous looking at the cramp houses in Hong Kong, low floors, small rooms.
Shouldn't it be at least 150sq ft. per person minimum?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the meantime, why can't the Hong Kong government institute the idea of "Virtual Loft" housing for Hong Kong.
Giving the Hongkies a sense of "space"...

This is my idea...

You see, a home normally have room for MORNING and NIGHT.
These is separated in Malaya, by the home on the ground floor for MORNING.
and the 1st floor in the NIGHT.

so, we need a 1,600sq. ft to 2,500sq. ft homes in Malaya.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Architects in Hong Kong could still keep the 500sq. ft. (because of land cost)

but they could make few rooms in the apartment.
The common area, toilet, kitchen, washing machine area could be cordon into a 200 square feet.
While the One of the Bedrooms could be made "VIRTUAL" (you might need 1 permanent room in case of illness etc.)

The other Bedroom could be converted into HALL in the morning AND becomes a BEDROOM in the eveing.

This will increase VIRTUAL size of the apartment to 650sq. ft.  (500 sq. ft + Virtual 150sq. ft bedroom)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other architects, could maybe add additional 5 ft to the apartment height, and we could have a "lock away" room?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This might bring back the fertility of the family back into  Hong Kong?
Top of Pyramid.....but why the PUNISHMENT?

Just don't create the ridiculous 50 sq. ft. bedrooms!

Gosh....a person from more spacious region will go "cwazy in the head" sleeping in such rooms.

How about Mr. Tsang beefing up the ENVIROMENT DEPARTMENT...

...in Hong KOng.

Spend 50% more, upgrade the cleaning equipment of the entire Enviroment Department.
Spend more money to ensure proper drainage and sewage.
Encourage Macao to treat their sewage so that none will flow to Hong Kong.

WAKE UP HONG KONG, you city is DIRTY!

TAKE OUT THE RUBBISH, make Hong Kong people proud!

Why? China doesn't have such a ridiculous policy.

Actually it could create a NEW INDUSTRY that is only suitable for use in HONG KONG and maybe in Singapore and London!

ha ha ha

Homes that can be turned into LIVING ROOMS and STUDY ROOM in the morning....
and CHANGED into 2 bedrooms in the evening.

That'll take a lot of new technologies, new design concept, new furniture...
and a new industry that can only be located within Hong Kong, Singapore and London...

The "VIRTUAL space increase" technologies.
New design bedroom.

Maybe hidden in ceilling bedroom that can be "lowered" during evenings...
which means furniture design needs to be very unique in Hong Kong, Singapore and London!

ha ha ha
