Well, most of our suggestions to improve Kuala Lumpur is being implemented by the government!
hurray!

Now i see, revitalization of Kuala Lumpur city center.
New, clean city and the suburbs.
CCTV installed all over to check on "troublemaking sabatoeurs from the Little Red Dot"
New landscaped roads, (dividers and road shoulders)
Manipulation for houseowners to repaint, upgrade their homes and shop houses.

There is also rapid expansion of shopping megamalls in Kuala Lumpur.

The five big factions now has flagship megamall and expansion plans....
1. I-utama has expanded to a more than 2-3 m sq. ft shopping extragavanza
2. plans underway to expand Pyramid, extension of 1.5m sq. ft to the existing 1.0m sq. ft.
3. New fangle shopping at the Curve
4. Expansion to start in Mid Valley shopping complex, a 2.0m sq. ft. shopping mega complex
5. KL city center beautification and creation of shopping, services, entertainment street.
6. Beautiful additions to the 'Little Hong Kong" at Sri Hartamas.

now 1 NEW SUGGESTION to improve the MALAYA SUPER CENTER.

UPGRADE OUR TAXI SERVICES.
keep lifespan of our taxis to 5 years.
only use taxi with large engine capacity.
(London has its distinctive black cabs, Japan, Hong Kong has the diesel 3.0 litre large taxis)

So we must improve our city TAXI services. It will give impetus to improve the region via "Monkey see, Monkey do" manipulation.

I get the 5 years lifespan in order to keep the fleet new...but why large engine capacity vehicles..shouldnt it be economic class cars with better gas per mile? Or better cars make a trip on a cab more enjoyable for the passenger thus serving as good way to increase use of taxi service?

thanks

Image and attraction of large corporation to HQ in Malaya super.

Use of large capacity taxi does not necessarily mean poorer fuel consumption. It makes taking taxi a more expensive proposition, encouraging the working class to take more bus and mass transit trips....while letting them occassionally enjoy a luxurious ride...during special occassions.

larger capacity taxi also uses DIESEL, which are quite economical to use and normally related to large capacity vehicles. It also mean higher fares which increases the income of taxi, reducing the number of taxis in the city..and congestion.

less taxis on the road means more MINI BUSSES, air conditioned busses, light transit rail and mass rapid rail...allowing more efficient use of energy.

Malaya seeing the upgrade of working class malls.

The rapid improvement of Malaya Super infrastructure reflects the growing strength of the NEW MIDDLE KINGDOM.

Its new WORKING CLASS SHOPPING MALLs are a Class Act of its own. Most of this are centred around a Shopping mall built either by PARKSON, semi Jap owned AEON, an Ex-CPM HAI O (you see, our local communist has gone capitalist instead of just being mountain terrors! ha ha ), and other smaller independent developers.

Normally in Malaya suburban or urbanizing new villages...a Working class shopping mall is built; linked to a cheap goods Hypermarket and a shopunits specializing in those regular urban services such as facials, banks, insurance, car sales, motorcyle sales, fishing shops pet shops, massage, reflexology, food courts, restaurants, specialty food shops.

and we are seeing Malaya copying some of Beijing's better services..
(1) Natural Gas powered Buses. This are airconditioned and clean.

and many of our own innovation...
(2) Private Schools of all kinds teaching music, languages, dancing, cooking...

and new refound ancient chinese services...
(3) Nursing mother service, post natal services, post natal slimming services, child care play centres...etc. etc. etc.

the lost of assembly work from Malaya super center to New MIddle Kingdom's hinterland has not affectd us much! This is something Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzen, and Shanghai could do the same....
