(Daily Mail) Chinese bike-sharing company Ofo will remove its bikes from Australia after a backlash from the community.

An Ofo spokesperson reportedly told The Advertiser that the company will be leaving the Australian market over the next 60 days in what was labelled a 'strategic decision'.

The exit comes after numerous residents vented their frustrations with the bike-share system, which was designed as an affordable, efficient and more sustainable form of transport.

See this is what happens in normal nations. The government told these $%$%wits to pick their damn bikes up and if they can't afford to then $%$% off.  Because this is a$%$%ingstralia and we are not going to have people leaving bikes all over the $%$%ing place just so we have an excuse to say 'shared economy' to please our American Silicon Valley freak masters or to seem as though we care about the environment. Like China. No. $%$% that.

Why does China put up with these companies? See above. Its so Chinese can say "Shared economy!" "The shared economy of China is rising rapidly! It has risen from $%$% all to slightly more but it is an increase of 10000000%! The shared economy of China has increased more than the purchase of smart watches or the use of ecigarettes! Shared economy everybody! Do you like us now our western masters?" I am embarrassed for you Chinese. I really am. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. The reason you are all tripping over these god damn share/rent bikes is because you a nation of pathetic people. You Chinese actually believe that us westerners are superior and that you China are inferior and that is what makes it true.
Ha. The use of e cigarettes is way up everybody. So is the purchase of smart watches. And the shared economy everybody! Its the new big thing! Its like taxis and food delivery.. Its new! This is the future everybody. Smart phones and apps and stuff. And shared economy! You can pay with your phone! Through an app!  What a time to be alive!!!

Shared bikes also failed to get off the ground in France, as they did in the antipodes.

When shared bikes first emerged on the streets in China, there were chaos, and outcry from people who were bothered by the bikes dumped everywhere or haphazardly handled by the users.

But it didn't deter China exploring new transportation modes, new biz models, with rules  rolled out to regulate this new-fangled stuff, and now the teething trouble is gone, and shared bikes have eventually gained currency.

Believe it or not, it's true.

Bullcrap. Bike sharing in China is still a big problem plus it is a corporate welfare scam too. The business model is not profitable and that is why this company was forced to leave Australia. This company was ordered by the government to pick up their discarded bikes but the company can't afford to pay people to drive around a city picking these dumped bikes up and that is why they had to leave. If they failed to pick the bikes up by a certain date they were to be fined for all of these dumped bikes. See this is how a normal nation is run. Look at crazy Chinese making fountains that squirt pedestrians. Or that stupid mobile phone walking lane. The state is paying for this lunacy right? Its as if a bunch of preschoolers are running China. There is no order and a lot of idiocy.

And how did China solve the problem of discarded bikes anyway? Is the Chinese state paying workers to pick the bikes up for the company? Or can the company afford to pay a Chinese peasant so little in China that they can pay to pick the bikes up and still turn a profit?

Seriously you would think preschoolers are in charge. No wonder the Americans have you bent over for them constantly.
