That happens in rural areas. Women marry late in their twenties or even in the thirties in cities. They usually reach the age of 22 when graduating from college. How could they marry at the young age of 18 or even younger?

I am not wrong, there are those who marry at 18, that's a fact, like you said, in rural areas, but many observed in cities too!  My post does not specify where!  But even in cities, many are forced to marry earlier than they should, because desperate mamas want grandchildren, the common refrain is, 'mama yao bao sunzi'!
Fresh grads, without a job have been dragged around by their mamas to blind dates (xiang qin), and parents even go to parks to put their CVs to find a partner quick!  Fresh grads should contribute to the economy, find themselves a job, not end up as mothers condemned to a life of breastfeeding and changing diapers! That would be a sheer waste of manpower, or woman power!
