US protected the KMT from PLA attacks, and yes, later enacted the Taiwan Relations Act to enhance ...
I was not twisting any facts. You stated, "US protected the KMT from PLA attacks! It as everything to do with taiwan remaining outside Mainland, and enacted the Taiwan Relations Act to protect taiwan in case of PLA attacks!"
"US protected the KMT from PLA attacks!"
Yes, they did. From 1950 until 1958, the US supplied the KMT with surplus military equipment to aid them in their fight against the CPC.
"It as everything to do with taiwan remaining outside Mainland, and enacted the Taiwan Relations Act to protect taiwan in case of PLA attacks!""
This did not occur until 30 years after the CPC took power in 1949.
The one "twisting facts" is the one who rolled both of those statements into one, making them part and parcel of the same argument.
I do, however see the Chinese point of view, since the Chinese Civil War has really never ended. There has never been an armistice or a Peace Treaty signed between the two sides, and there is debate as to whether or not the war legally ended. This does not, however, necessarily mean that I have to agree with it (Chinese POV). I am free to form my own opinions on this particular matter, as are you. You are also free to feel that my opinion is incorrect. That is your right. I do not have to agree with you, nor do you have to agree with me. That is the wonderful thing about political discussions. You can still have differences of opinion, and at the end of the day, walk away from it all and continue on with your life.
