Why, then, are your comments not "shredded"? Your accusations have no basis at all. You have a knack for proving yourself wrong many times.

Yes, good question: Why haven't my posts been shredded? The moderator pulled my first comment but for reasons best known only by her, reinstated it half a day later after I had made mini comments.

My point is more valid than yours: Of course Laos is being taken advantage of by the Chinese.

China has already forced Sri Lanka to surrender its sovereignty over a new port for 99 years because Sri Lanka is unable to pay the Chinese infrastructure construction price plus financing cost. China's banks are much more expensive than Japanese banks and other banks.

Just like certain western media, you are hyping up the Sri Lanka issue like it happens everywhere to propagate the "China threat" to undermine China. It was a contract and both agreed to it. Furthermore, it is for a limited term, not permanent. So the port will be returned to Sri Lanka eventually--well developed and ready for use. I don't see how China has "taken advantage" of Sri Lanka. As for the other countries, only time will tell but you and the anti-China media would like to speculate and accuse China falsely hoping that by doing so, it will eventually become "true" to unwary people. That is a sneaky way of achieving your agenda. Whenever I read your posts, I am reminded of the same kind of posts published by certain media. You and your kind are a danger to society as a whole.

You Asians lack integrity, don't you agree? You are always the first to mouth off that the "West colonized us poor, backward developing country people" and when one of you does it you find lame excuses or you claim "the West does it too".

When will China actually set any oral standards?

In my opinion: We Westerners are better for the simple reason that while we used to make the mistakes you Asians are making today we have learnt from that experience, stopped making such mistakes (for the most part) and actually help developing nations in a generous and charitable way.

No one is "anti-China" just because they mention under what self-serving conditions China gets involved in other developing countries. China never acts out of charity, you know. The railway line across Laos serves no one's interests but China's, and to a lesser extent, Thailand's. The worst that can be said against it is that Laos will be a loan slave to the Chinese, just as Sri Lanka became one recently. Now China is the de facto sovereign over Sri Lanka's newest port for the next 99 years, and it is to be expected that China will militarise it so as to encircle India. Sri Lanka has become involuntarily involved in China's anti-India geostrategic shemes and game. Laos will follow it suit.

It's called "neo-colonialism".
