That's your MO; you are always stoned!

""China’s unit labor costs were just 4% lower than those in the U.S.""

Do you really expect anyone to believe this? You are always a proponent of capitalism and all the animalistic
greed and savagery that goes along with it. Do you actually think, with all the anti-China sentiment in the
US today, that all the jobs would not immediately be taken back by the US if this were true?
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

No Robert because US corporations will just relocate their factories to other poorer countries in the developing world. Nike, for instance, closed its last shoe factory in China in 2010 and moved those sweatshop factories to Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. because their labor and land costs are cheaper. In the garment industry, Bangladesh has now taken the top spot for US brands to outsource the production of their branded apparel for sale to US consumers.

This is a classic example of the Capitalist exploitation of both poor laborers in the developing world and debt-laden US consumers. The Capitalists who own these US MNCs reap the tax-free profits from labor exploitation and consumer profiteering. It’s not possible for family-owned US SMEs to compete against these giant, highly-capitalized US MNCs who use their Capital against Labor to create an oligopoly of brands in US markets. Just think, how many US factories can compete against Nike, Levi’s, GAP, etc?
