In business, this is called OEM. In other words, the manufacturers in China are only responsible for products according to the customers' requirements. Generally, the customers provide the design of packing to the manufacturers in China, and the samples of packing is usually submitted to the foreign customers/importers for confirmation before massive production.
China is just the whipping boy for China bashers who always are in attempt to demonise China from the government, Chinese people and trash Chinese products.

Nothing. But deliberately maligning Chinese products with no proof of inferior quality is the same ...

There is no "deliberate maligning of Chinese products" here. The US American producer informs his esteemed clientele that he processes no Chinese imports. Nowhere does this say that Chinese products are "inferior"; that is by inference only and you have to ask yourself why Chinese products have the reputation that a manufacturer outside of China can cash in on people's biases by stating his products have no Chinese ingredients.

Maybe the Chinese businesspeople need to do their homework and improve the quality of their goods until not only the international community respects them but the Chinese as well.

The non-Chinese-ingredient pitch is just a gimmick for the manufacturers and retailers in the US to overcharge customers in a desperate bid to survive. They would fail, as nobody in the US is as dumb as the little boozy man from S. Africa.
Believe it or not, it's true.

So you must be OK with a sign outside a restaurant saying "No blacks allowed".
After all, the sign said nothing to malign blacks, it simply said "No blacks allowed".
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Or Seneca Coffee: “So black it’s hard to believe it’s from Europe!”

He changes his strips so often it's hard to tell.
Since it has no personality or identity it must be a moniker for whoever is spitting out western propaganda on that particular shift.
