You don't know what you are talking about do you?

You don't know who I was talking to but then again you are almost like a twin of that other poster so both of you are equally hopeless.

You do know what happens when you "ass-u-me" ... right?

"Every employee has to sign an agreement ..." Oh, yeah ... that automatically makes people think, "Gee ... maybe he actually means 'some employees' ... "

Backpedal much, Robert?

You do know what it means when you "assume", right?

"Every employee has to sign an agreement before they will be hired" ... Riiight! ... I can just imagine readers thinking to themselves, "Maybe he means 'Some people' ", or"Maybe he means only 'these other people' ".

"I assumed the reader would know signing over all your rights to your ideas and inventions would apply
to companies that were interested in stealing technology from their employees, not service workers."

So now, 'service workers' do not fall under the classification of 'employee'? Since when? What, in your little mind, constitutes an 'employee'?

Oh, and BTW, just in case you weren't aware ... if you come up with something that may benefit the company that PAYS you to come up with ideas that benefit it, and you do it ON COMPANY TIME (ie. "while you are at work"), that idea or invention becomes the property of the company, because that's what they pay you to do!

And yes, I wrote that using nice simple language so that even YOU could understand it.
