Yes terrible news wasnt it

Quite a few people die from DVT's each year, as they can lurk for a long while before making themselves felt as it were. They weren't really an issue back in 707 days as the seat pitch and width were far more generous.

Yes Cattle Class is not for me on long haul.

I suppose we are fortunate to be in the position to pay what is really an over the top price, the fare for me showed £3,800 when I first looked but knowing that Virgin do two sales a year and one was due I waited and as soon as the sale came out booked for about £3,100. That's still a lot for a flight but!!!!

I do have to say that food in Chinese restaurants has become more and more palatable. I enjoy eating their veggies most. Meat is still a little problematic but it is getting better. I love soybeans and tofu. And the teas are becoming increasingly what one might call "cult drinks" like our wine.

But I prefer preparing my lunches and dinners myself. A couple of weeks ago I ate a bowl of meaty soup prepared by my mother-in-law. It was so greasy my stomach was upset for the next 36 hours.

Hmm, my fav meat is chicken and I do eat it in China but worry how long it's been knocking about before I receive it.
Left to my own devises once I went to a restaurant and ordered chicken, it was a darkish place as I cut the chicken it seemed harder to slice a piece off than it should. Thankfully I held the plate up as I stood and could clearly see it was half cooked.
It was many years ago and I only knew 'nihao' then but in an angry tone called the girl and loudly told her in English it wasn't cooked I was amazed when she had a shocked expression on her face, the meal was replaced and at the end of it I asked to pay and was told 'meiyou'

Didn't even charge me for the Tsingtao

I still worried for 24 hrs in case i had the zit's
