Salaries are getting smaller and smaller due to mass immigration..
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you

The progress of China is so great because it was so poor until 1980. The % of progress is harder after you eliminate the worst of poverty. Simply look at GDP PER CAPITA.
My problem is simple: I just know better than everyone-else!

First should study UK's poverty magnitude to that of China's. If they are generally wealthier than China then its difficult to say there is anything for UK to learn from China.

Second the Anglo-supremacy psychology is too strongly manifested in their minds so its pretty hard for the Chinese to sell their ideas to them.

'Proud families'
More than four-fifths said they saw signs of children being hungry during the day,  ...

Two points:

Sensationalising poverty in a country other than one's own requires more tact and more insight than you have shown in this case. Your thread sounds like an accusation to the British government for neglecting "poor people".

But your thread is poor in information. It contains neither stats nor any hint as to why the pupils here are "poor". We don't even know how old they are, nor why their parents cannot meet their children's nutritional needs.

ARE THESE VICTIMS THE CHILDREN OF NEW IMMIGRANT FAMILIES???

Second: I don't think CHINA has a solution to offer to the British. Why connect one country's "poor" with another country's government???

Surprise to know that there are so much below poverty line in world one of the most developed nation ...

Then again, if parents are drug consumers, immigrants that shun job opportunities, locals who booze, then it is NOT THE GOVERNMENT'S FAULT if their children suffer.

Such people should not be allowed to have children.

I fully agree with your opinion, true govt is not defaulter in this case. But if you don't teach those deprived children one day they will be nuisance to the society. The growing difference between "Have" & " Haven't" will ruin the society.
