Driverless minibus available at university in Nanjing [Copy link] 中文

A driverless mini bus was launched on campus of the Southeast University in Nanjing, China this week. The minibus an carry up to 12 passengers at 20 kilometers an hour. Its batteries allow it to run for 14 hours on a 7-hour charge. (From China Plus)

Such buses have been tested and already been used in public service in France, the U.S.A., Switzerland. There is a French maker that set up a factory in the U.S.A. to meet demand there.

Whoopdedoo. The mining industry has used driverless vehicles for a long time now. But a driverless vehicle on a mining site or university that travels at low speeds and does not have to contend with traffic is a very different thing from the murderous self driving Teslas or Ubers.
