Meanwhile, China could try a little harder making the lives of primary and middle school pupils a tad more humane. Don't you agree in saying that cramming 60 children into a concrete box measuring 20 meters by six meters is cruel? But this is the common fate of hundreds of millions of Chinese children, and has been for decades.
In my own childhood, the largest class I was in numbered 28 pupils. In China, such a small class would probably be closed and the pupils moved to another class to augment its number.
If class sizes were reduced to 30, for example, each pupil could be taken more seriously, and the interests of these children would take off more powerfully.

No, our classroom is only half of that size which is 12*6=72 square meters!
I think the basic thing determines children‘s interest should be if and how many they could gain fruits through their own effect! ----------In middle school I enjoyed in learning new words with dictionary through which I harvested more than the limited texts, such hobby has lead me to the success here since many of my colleagues admire me for this reason!
