SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk on Wednesday gave his thumbs up for Chinese infrastructure construction, calling the nation 100 times faster than the US.

“China’s progress in advanced infrastructure is more than 100 times faster than the US,” Musk wrote on his personal Twitter account in a quote tweet of a news report about how a railway station in eastern China’s Fujian province was completed within 9 hours.

The construction took place at Longyan Station on January 19, 2018. A total of 1,500 laborers worked together with 23 excavators.

Many followed the thread and echoed Musk. A user named Brandon, who said he works for a light rail system in the US city of San Diego, commented that they have been working on a new station for more than six months.

Musk said in comments that the system of incentives in the US is messed up. “Higher safety & environmental requirements & labor costs explain only a small part of the difference. True root cause imo is an exponential growth in bureaucracy & a self-serving private sector consultant industry earning a % on project cost, incenting them to maximize cost,” he said.(People's Daily Online)

If you order 1500 Chinese workers to build a submarine service station in the Sahara, they will finish their job in under 9 hours. This is the advantage of a system in which only one person is allowed to think. If it is the customer, then why should the workers blink and think: Who needs a submarine service station built on sand? The customer knows whether the Sahara will one day become the bottom of an ocean where his submarines can dock.

Perhaps you need some help with your reading. This is a railway station the OP is talking about, not a submarine station in the Sahara.
You should start with "See spot run.. run spot run".
That's your first assignment little monkey.

Of course, Elon Musk was right when you see the most famous city in the USA, LA International Airport, with its ceiling board hanging loosely and electrical wirings hanging loosely plus its custom checkpoints are so filthy looking with relatively tiny room spaces to work, let alone giving passengers their imagined impressions of the USA!

All its USA money has gone to wars upon wars and more disturbing war games in the Far East Asia Pacific, f...u...king around with its fuel burning F16, F18,  F35, stealth bombers, millions rounds of ammunitions on fires and including more than 100,000 combat troops ( plus on board carriers fleet ) in one region to feed.
By the way, aren't these heavy and huge oil burning beasts made of aluminium and steel ? While tariffs are UP, suppliers should hide their stock piles; stop selling and stop digging the ground for more; lest, all these earth goodies shall go to waste - sinful indeed.

Can a nation with that sort of mental conundrum become the greatest nation on Earth?  It is a doomed dream, Mr UncleTrump; stop blaming all others including your predecessors. YOU have to be righteous to correct and right others, first of all.

Yeah, deer Bobby, is the sun coming to your head? Drink a lot of water to avoid dehydration! Guilin's summer heaty is dangerous for the obese and the weak and the elderly.

Why should we all build railway stations in 9 hours? Don't you have any ambition? Submarine service stations are the fashion. Railway station, my foot! Bob wants to give a kingdom for a railway station but he hasn't got the passengers to come to his silly railway station!

Elon Musk is wrong. He does not know how inefficient Chinese employees are. Anyone who has been to a Chinese bank or post office know how tedious, slow and unresponsive they are. But if you tell 1500 workers they get 10 kuai in bonus if they finish construction of a railway station you can count on them. But you need to make sure they do things exactly as you want them to do them. Never let a Chinese worker think and make decisions of his own! The result would be disastrous.

So you think building a submarine dry dock in the Sahara takes less than 98 hours? My, Bobby, the summer is already causing your head to burn out.
