This bill was started by Obama and it is passed thru Trump period.

It is a way to take it out on China especially during his last trip there when he was not accord that proper protocol at the airport.

Taiwan has always been seen in US lobbying them to abandon the One China policy as well. Many a time, one can hear US lawmakers echoing that sentiment on and off the cuff. It will be a time when it come out into the open. If and when that effect comes true, many other countries will follows suit.

Trusting the US to honored that pledge of One China policy will be a uphill task. Similarly, Trump chose to abandon the TPP and one of the first thing he signed off in his Executive Order was that accord. Now, he said he is willing to participate if it can be renegotiate. It is time for those signatory countries to tell him that this pact goes thru largely because US was not in it and if he is keen than US should oblige to what ever is agreed and not what US wanted it to be.

Asia in particular South East Asian should begin to stand up for itself and not hanging to that apron awaiting for roll call from the US as and when they pleased and depicting their terms and conditions onto others. One of the most prominent objective is he is beginning to realize that without that market place for US produces and products, his America First policy is getting nowhere. Yes you can have it make and produce in US but without that commerce it is a failure.
