Apparently Mao spent the last year of his life unable to speak from a stroke and having to suck food through a straw.... hmmm, plenty of time to also ponder the millions of deaths caused by the Great Leap Forward and the complete brain death of the entire nation’s population from the Cultural Revolution which destroyed the entire country and brought 6000 years of history to its knees....
Hmmm, karma?

You're not going to fit in well with seneca's fawning entourage.
seneca claims China only has 2000 years of history.

I'll let you in on a little secret.. Mao saved China for the Chinese people.
The GLF and the CR were both successes for this purpose.
You can't argue with genius.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

If the GLF and the CR hadn’t happened, in fact, if Mao hadn’t turned around and stabbed its friendly ally USA in the back after they liberated China from the Japanese, China would have developed at the same rate as The USA since World War 2, possibly even faster, instead, the country was destroyed, millions died, Huge chunks of history and buildings lost forever, the nation to this day is still recovering (and truth be told may not ever fully recover) China is 50 years behind what they could have been, this development we see now could have been happening since the 1950s the same as America. ONE MAN destroyed that

Oh please. If the US backed KMT would have won China would be just another puppet of the US.
Like Japan and South Korea. No sovereignty, no dignity, and the Chinese culture would be lost forever.
What is the "friendly ally bullshit?
