They rounded up the real Australian Communist leaders and put them in jail for being communists. The new 'socialist' parties of Australia are run by ASIO and they are used to frame opinion and as controlled opposition. Trot them out to battle with the ASIO run 'alt right' for the CIA controlled corporate media cameras. And these socialist are not socialists at all - they are leftist liberals that hate the working class. Unless they are POCs of course. ASIO is in control of the fake socialists of Australia - members are brain dead leftist imbecile uni students mostly from Melbourne. Useful idiots. What ASIO is afraid of is me.

ASIO should be afraid of me too. I am a lot smarter than they are.

The word "democracy" has been misused and abused by certain people/countries for selfish agenda. P ...

Wait, let me get a clear picture:

You are a CHINESE and have never experienced real democracy, right?

What makes YOU think that YOU know what DEMOCRACY is or what real democracy is?

Do you think it is an ancient Chinese concept?

Why has China never managed to come up with a workable form of democracy of its own when it so clearly knows what democracy actually is?

To me, the word "democracy" can be defined in a number of different ways and each may be acceptable to a whole nation. For example the French have adopted a democratic model in which the citizens elect their president. The neighbours to the east in Switzerland have a more elaborate form of democracy in which the citizens cast their opinions on a number of political issues four times a year. These issues are then decided upon in what is called "referenda".

That is just two examples of democracies in real life. Both show that the citizens of a democratic country are involved in the running of their country, in France's case through delegating powers to elected members of the parliament and government, in Switzerland's case through the same plus referenda.

How can you make such a mess of the concept of "democracy" by mocking it with your condescending view? You must have reasons. Please, explain!

Excuse me: You too are talking like a distant monk unaware of the goings-on in public life but wanting to be heard by the laypeople whom he wants to convert to his faith: What is the "West", where is it, what is its capital, what is its national language???

There is no country or polity called "The West" and there is no uniform "oligarchy" in power in all the Western countries.

There is more of an oligarchy to be found in China than there is in Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Germany.

True. "Democracy" is just a word to them. They don't truly believe in it. It is just a useful tool for them to fool the people.

The Chinese and "western" societies are not yet comfortable with one-another. But they are becoming increasingly similar as a "global culture" develops. The US can assist this  process by abandoning the idea of "containing" China. The Korean Peninsula juts-out and blocks the access of northern Chinese ports to the Pacific. This is a limitation that would annoy me greatly if I were a Chinese leader. A US military withdrawal from South Korea would help. To motivate such a US withdrawal China should replace the DPRK Kim regime with one that is mutually-acceptable to the Republic of Korea and to China and, of course, disarm it. Units of the Chinese PLA can replace the DPRK units along the DMZ. (After that, the DMZ will no longer be required) All of Korea belongs within the Chinese area of control (just as Mexico and Canada are within the US area of control). China must be recognized and treated as the #2 world power (which will prepare it to become a civilized #1 world power at the end of this century!).

A gross exaggeration. There are capitalist oligarchs in China too. Despite the influence of oligarchs in the "west", the means to limit their influence via free elections still exist.
