I was watching ESPN today because the 76ers were playing the Spurs and after the game they go straight to this breaking news type segment about the MSU rape and sexual assault thing. There was something about some doctor molesting gymnasts in then news last week but I didn't read any of those stories because rape stories generally do not interest me. Like I used to have an ex girlfriend that loved to watch these sick TV shows like CSI SVU which is pretty much always about some young girl being violently raped and in my opinion these shows are a bit depressing. Anyway, it seems that many of you get excited about rape stories but I don't so I avoided the doctor rapes gymnasts story. I was pretty sure I remember it being about the Olympics wasn't it? But the guy was from MSU ( Michigan State University )? Anyway apparently MSU has been covering up reports of rape by players on the MSU gridiron and basketball teams and the media has found out and now there is some big scandal. There are big protests at MSU with students calling for trustees and the head coaches of the MSU gridiron and basketball teams to be fired. Its a pretty big thing apparently.
So on the dramatic ESPN report about this following the 76ers v Spurs game they showed these parents of some chick that got gang raped by some dudes from the MSU gridiron team. The chick had hand written details of the gang rape and the most graphic parts were read by a reporter and they included a line about how .... actually if I repeat it here I am worried this thread won't make it passed the mods. It was quite graphic and in my opinion very inappropriate for daytime viewing on a sports network. It reminded me of all of these recent pornographic accounts from the #metoo/#timesup survivors. If I didn't know any better I would think that the perverse elite powers that be have set up these hashtags to encourage females to embarrass themselves by publicly telling their x rated stories in public. Like the chick that gave James Franco oral sex in his car because he was a celebrity and she didn't want him to hate her especially since she was hoping that she would get some acting opportunities from Franco. Now any sane person would read this and know that the chick is a total slut but because of this hashtag stuff the chick thinks she is a survivor. Apparently there are thousands of these x rated skutty stories that females have posted to the hashtags. Ha.

So yeah these parents - so their daughter overdosed on some medication for mental illness or something and after she died they found these written notes about her the gang rape she suffered in the boot/trunk of her car, and they read them and found that their daughter had been gang raped. And like I said these notes are quite detailed and graphic. So after reading their daughters written accounts of her gang raping by some football players that the daughter had written in therapy sessions the parents were shocked and angry. These parents didn't even know their daughter had been gang raped. So the mother gets on the internet and finds the four guys that raped her daughter and she said she wanted to kill them. Apparently she decided to go to MSU to report the rape instead and an investigation was done but no arrests were made due to "inconsistencies" in the daughters written account of the gang rape. Inconsistencies.

So while I watched the story I wondered why the daughter had not told her parents that she had been raped, and I wondered if the reason might be because these parents do not have very good parenting skills. If you are a good parent then your child should feel comfortable to come to you with any problem that they have. Another thing that I was thinking is that for the girl to be getting drunk and playing cards with a bunch of football players may indicate that the young lady may have had some kind of daddy issues because often young ladies that go out and get drunk and party with football players are acting this way because they have not had the best relationship with their father so they seek approval from men like football players. And another thing I wondered was why was this young lady so mentally fragile that a traumatic event in her life would cause her to become so depressed that she kills herself by overdosing on drugs for mental illness. Often people that commit suicide do so because they are not getting the support they need from their family. I wondered if these thoughts may have crossed the minds of these parents and rather than entertaining these thoughts that they may be in some way responsible for the fate of their daughter, perhaps instead the parents decided to put all the blame on others - like these football players that had drunken group sex with their daughter after a drunken game of late night cards, and MSU itself for not making sure these footballers went to jail even though the police say that there are "inconsistencies" in their daughters written accounts of the drunken group sex.

And after I decided to change the channel I was thinking about when I used to play football ( Rugby League ) in highschool and how my friends and I would often have orgies with slutty females from our school. The thing was though that these chicks were totally up for it. Personally I think group sex is a bit gay if it involves more than one dude so I was never really into it but I did have a couple of drunken threesomes and I remember one night I think there was five of us getting drunk and we called up some slutty girls we knew and asked them to come to my friends house for an orgy and they did, so we all had sex in one room together although we were paired off. A lot of chicks are up for stuff like this - even in highschool. The fact is that young girls often find football players to be sexually desirable and it is also often socially desirable for them to have sex with a football player. And since a young chick is turned on by the thought of sex with one good looking footy player then of course it stands to reason that sex with two good looking footy players will excite many young ladies twice as much. I know that having sex with two cheerleader types ( we don't have cheerleaders in Australia really but we do have sluts ) would have been a thought that was twice as exciting to me than the thought of getting with one cheerleader type chick. To suggest that it is any different for young ladies is very sexist.

So anyway - what would you guys say? Do you believe that there could be any possibility that perhaps the parents of these MSU survivors are in some way to blame for the fact that their daughters have put themselves in these kinds of situations? And if nobody has gone to jail over these claims then is it possible that none of these ladies were raped at all? Shouldn't we wait and see if anyone is actually arrested from all of this before we stomp about demanding for coaches and others to be fired? I'm more of a Michigan Wolverines guy myself - remember the Fab Five in the 90s? I had so many Michigan Wolverines Starter hats back then. They were like my thing. But still.  Anyway - shouldn't everyone calm down about this and wait and see what happens before coaches are fired? The young lady that killed herself with mental illnesses drugs did have inconsistencies in her story right? And yeah - if these young ladies had better parents would they have even ended up in these situations where they do things that they may regret later? What do you guys reckon?

I saw Jalen Rose on Jalen and Jacoby the other day and he was wearing a Michigan hat. I had one just like it. I had so many Michigan hats. Jalen Rose was a member of the Fab Five.
