Robert, you are a loser Sorry but your points are negative - you hae lost this discussion again!
...

"I think if China claims it can produce goods as high-quality as those made in the West then I want to take China by its promise and buy there. Unfortunately, China makes promises and it breaks promises."

China does not cater to the needs of  bitchy foreigners like you!  It has built quality homes for millions of its people, especially those who were previously living in rundown village homes, and no one is complaining, except YOU!

I find it humorous that someone would mention Lenovo as some example of Chinese quality.  I have owned and built dozens of PCs over the years and never experienced more issues than with the three Lenovo machines I have had the displeasure of using.

They are terrible.  Period.

You don't seem to understand what this thread is all about. But then again, your head works much like that Russian RAKETA watch I purchased somewhere in Siberia: the vendor promised me that Raketa watches are the world's fastest...

For your enlightenment: Chinese people will one day be all as bitchy as you are - after they have found out what their money could buy if there was real competition in the Chinese market.

Your comment once again proves your inability to take part in any adult discussion. I once purchased a Russian-made RAKETA watch from a black marketer in Siberia. His selling point was that the "RAKETA is the world's fastest watch..." Your posts are in the same intellectual league, all of them!

One day, most Chinese will be as "bi  tc hy" as you are - when they finally get to compare shoddy domestically made goods with goods that win the minds of the international markets. When Chinese have learnt that there are criteria other than just the price they will ditch many local brands and go for world brands. They have already done that with baby milk powder.

Huawei has already surpassed Apple as the number two smartphone brand in the world. Huawei is also ranked with Ericsson as the top two vendors of 4G/5G telecommunications equipment and with Cisco as the top two vendors of data networking equipment. That’s why the US government is banning Huawei in order to protect Apple and Cisco, both of which have lost market share to Huawei outside the USA.

As for housing, most private flats are sold as concrete shells to be finished by the buyer who would then have full control over the quality and cost.. It’s the responsibility of the buyer not the developer to hire and manage the contractors building out the concrete shell into a finished flat.

How is your post a meaningful reply to any content in this thread???

your mind works differently from how normal people's minds work. I once purchased a Raketa-brand watch on the black market of some Siberian town. The vendor assured me that Raketa watches were "the world's fastest..." watches. That was his selling point. You tick in the exact same way.

One day all the Chinese people will be as "bitshy" as you routinely are - but they will bi tsh about the lack of quality and the short span of useful life of their Chinese-made Raketas and other locally-made goods because they will by then know that their good money can buy better-quality goods if these goods are made available. Once China opens up its market then that will happen.

Today they already have decided that Chinese-made baby milk powder is not good enough for their own children.

Do you know the difference between making a reply and making a nuisance of yourself? You never reply to a poster with whose opinion you disagree; you make a nuisance of yourself by posting a "reply". all your replies tend to muddy the water and sow discord and confusion.
