This shows how out of touch you are with China.

You haven't been in China long enough, Robert... You don't know how they build houses, roads, bridges... All is so shoddy it lasts a few years or decades. Nothing like solid buildings such as those in Germany that can stand there for thousands of years...

I didn't know you were a civil engineer.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

I have owned two flats one after the other in China. Both were brand-new when I bought them, and both were of exttremely shoddy quality.

When I was a kid everything was made in Hong Kong. When England owned Hong Kong.

I have a metal Star Wars Snowspeeder model in my car with me right now. Made in Hong Kong in 1980.

Though Chinese products have already got rid of the image of low quality

No, they haven't. Go to Crystal Mall, near Metrotown Mall, in Burnaby, and you will find nothing but the same crap that is sold in China. Guess who shops there? Chinese tourists.

Henderson Place Shopping Centre, in Coquitlam ... same thing. Every business is a Chinese business with same low-quality rubbish that is sold in China.
Stupid people are like Glowsticks. You want to snap them in half and shake the crap out of them until they see the light.
I love sarcasm. It's like punching someone in the head ... only with words
