In recent years, the number of outbound Chinese tourists has set a new record of being the highest in the world. But that influx is not being felt in India. Chinese tourists who travel overseas rarely make India their holiday destination and only about 3% of India's seven million foreign visitors in 2014 were from China. So why don't Chinese tourists prefer to travel to India? Is it possible for India to reverse this trend?

Chinese want to visit rich countries, to do shopping and to realise their childhood dream of going to developed countries.
