"The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons." {Dostoevsky}

The only reason why Donald Trump got involved in this matter was because if he was seen to allow a country with an abysmal human rights record to jail three U.S. Americans he would go down in history as an accomplice to arbitrary justice in a foreign country.

Write a grovelling letter apologizing to the people of china, and admit your mistake a 100 times
They love it when the western bad man has to grovell
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you

They should have spent a couple of weeks in a Chinese jail just so they could realize how lucky they were to just happen to have Trump in town. How stupid can you get to even be entitled kids to try to shoplift especially in a foreign country. All you have to listen to is the louth mouth father (LaVar Ball) using the situation to elevate himself and get press time. Every time he opens his mouth I understand how the kids got themselves in to trouble.

  They should have had a few months in prison at least.  Sniveling little SOB's like LaVar Ball need tarring and feathering.  When in Rome, do as the Romans do springs to mind.
