Mike has trouble lacing his own shoes-forget the strings.

Pence will become the next president before the next election.
No strings attached.

Gosh robert. Don't you realize that Pence is a smooth, merciless tool of the American right? At least Trump is ruining things for the conservatives. God save us from this silver-haired pseudo-Christian bag-boy for the rich!
My problem is simple: I just know better than everyone-else!

Well, that's the way things go. Bush jr. was mentored by Cheney and nobody wanted him as
president. But getting a blue blooded oligarch in office would cause even more problems for
the popularity of the oval office. Pence can't hide behind ignorance or agenda.
If a hitter knows a curve ball is coming the results are better for the batter.
Trump has countless wild pitches thrown so for.

The less certain that all parties are of a peaceful outcome, the more certain is the prospect of a m ...

re:  On the other hand, Moon may see through this ploy and redouble his demand for a peaceful solution for the obvious reason that the first and foremost casualty of war would be the entire population of South Korea.

In 2015, bilateral trade went to US$227 billion.

China’s share of South Korea’s total exports exceeds one fourth, twice as high as the share of the United States.
Chinese goods comprise 1/5th of South Korean imports, roughly equaling the share of American and Japanese goods combined.

The United States and South Korea long maintained that the deployment was only about the North Korean threat to US military assets in South Korea.
The deployment of THAAD was a big mistake, it even needed a leadership change to carry it out.
Asian people do understand that 3 flattops flexing their power in front of N/Korea will only worsen the situation.
Now, S/Korea agreed not to take in any more US hardware to protect US garrison's within their land and life will get better for ordinary S/Korean folks.
I don't think the South will break his word and kowtow again to his Western master.
The consequences would be to hard to swallow for the people.

One must remember, the US moved their military bases out of harms way,  from Yongsan, in the middle of Seoul to Pyeongtaek, a rural city 60kms away.

The 8th Army moved its headquarters here last month, and there are now around 25,000 people based here.
Further works are due to be completed at the end of this year. Once done Camp Humphreys is expected to house more than 1000 families and 45,000 people.
This new base is the largest construction project in the US Department of Defense’s history.
The bill of 13bn USD military base is shared by the US and S/ Korean governments.

The local people living in Seoul, some 10 billion (sorry- should read 10 million) of them will need to stay there while the 3 flattops keep begging to do something ...
