It seems the rumbling, stubling, bumbling presdent Trump fires anyone who gives him advice he does not want to hear.
However, he cannot fire the vice president, Mike Pence.
Could it be possible that Mr. Pence is stepping in to trottle Trump on his critical tour of east Asia?
Somebody must be. At least it seems likely Trump is being coached by a professional politician so far.
Pence is about the only person in the white house who could and should coach this game show
host while visiting highly skilled world leaders in Asia.

Trump is in his element at this juncture of the game.  First, he softens his tone to create a sense of relief in the mind of his opponents, and then, he triples down the ante, to achieve maximal shock and awe on their weakened resolve to tough it out to the end.  The expectation is that Kim and China will fold, because the speech he gave at the South Korean Assembly was nothing short of an imperative for regime change, something that Tillerson and Mattis backed down from, and which he pretended to back away from by teasing that there might be a deal coming.  Unfortunately, these tactics only enforce the distrust that Kim and China had of him and his administration, to the point that they believe he will go for regime change, regardless of whatever reassurances his "deal" may incorporate that disavows any regime change.

Such a strong speech has the direct effect of putting China in a tight spot.  To agree means to accept regime change.  To disagree means to take the side of North Korea against regime change.

This is a moment of truth for China.  There is little doubt what it would choose, but as always, truth is stranger than fiction.  And that might be the real "surprise" that Trump had arranged for in advance.

The less certain that all parties are of a peaceful outcome, the more certain is the prospect of a military showdown.  Trump wants Kim back on the Chicken paradigm, by making it almost impossible for Moon to advocate for peace with a regime that he has painted with the ashes of hades.  Because, it is in the convergence of the Peace Resolve of Moon and China that the Chicken game unravels, and there can be no prospect of war, a key element in his calculations going forward.  Minus this threat, nothing moves in the way he desires.  Thus, Moon has to be defeated in the heart of the South Korean Assembly.  On the other hand, Moon may see through this ploy and redouble his demand for a peaceful solution for the obvious reason that the first and foremost casualty of war would be the entire population of South Korea.  As Trump likes to say, we'll see.

Sounds like you must have read his book... and believed it.
He is good at running some of his enterprises into bankruptcy though. At least four so far.
