About your naive stance on "intellectual property rights": if we all shared your unreasonable be ...

You are saying if, people make and do things for everyone.
NO one will do anything?

As I pointed out in another post, there is a satisfaction and even "joy" that comes from helping others.
So contrary to your point, on the flip side MORE people would engage in such action.
(my opinion is just as valid as yours)

Your "logic" seems to be from a different world:

If you start from the beginning of my post, I said....
"in my "idealistic" view".

Realistically would be a different matter.
(stop misquoting me)

Submit to what?
Scrutiny?

You have only been verbalizing what your tired eyes have absorbed from the CD. Think for yourself for a change!

China is doing nothing more than what America does (God of global law).

Why do you always have to benchmark China's actions along the U.S.A.'s model? There are other countries ahead of both of them and you always ignore them. China is a law-scoff, a law-breaker, a hegemon and a source of conflicts and wars. Is the U.S.A.? Yes. And China is no better. Sigh!

"in my "idealistic" view".

So you realise that your so-called "idealism" would herald very negative consequences for the future of humanity?

You need to brush up on English. I never said that.

I said that if people have to give up their right to own property rights to their own thoughts which may bring novel solutions to vexing problems then people get frustrated and disenfranchised and as a result won't share their ideas with others. They would feel CHEATED OUT OF THEIR JUST DUES.

Only religions offer satisfaction from working collectively and worshipping a higher being. In terrestrial life, every dog is for himself. COllective solutions deflate people's joy of life.

America is the "land of the free" (if your rich)
The "champion of democracy" (when it suits them)
The "most powerful nation on earth" (so far).

So they are the one's who the world looks to set precedence.
If "America does it" it must be right.....
right?
