Not all traditions are good! This thread has driven me think a lot about ourselves! As a teacher, I  have noted that ‘reciting’’ is the worst ‘habit‘’ for our nation, at least within the education field that has played negative role for the progress of the Chinese civilization!-----------I have posted new thread titled 《What is the biggest enemy for Chinese education?》 please have a look!

I am delighted to hear that you enjoy my writing. I have read your comment for several times. I would like produce more articles and introduce more wonderful national treasures to you. I am sure the more you see the more you would be puzzled by Chinese splendid history and the prosperity of the present society!

(I had spent two years in confucius‘ hometown for university study. My first visit to the confucius temple without tour-guide left me a plain impression: "All things look like what I saw from that landlord‘s in my home-county and there is nothing special!’’-------------To my surprise, the second visit the same bile place told me different stories given by my teacher as guide whose explainings were so wonderful that you could sense how great Chinese culture had been!"
I wish I could act as your trip-guide for your visit to China through reading here in the forum!
