So ... when the PEOPLE of another country are suffering, and China has a dispute with the GOVERNME ...

What logic is that? The disaster was not caused by China. Even though there was a dispute between China and Philippines, China still sent aids out of humanitarian grounds. It was not just financial aids, China also sent medical teams there to provide services to the Philippines. Only a warped mind like yours can come up with the idea that China "make the PEOPLE suffer even more" by sending aids.

Try reading again, only this time read slower, so your brain has a chance to catch up. China sent the least amount of aid, compared to other countries directly due to the spat it has with the Philippines. They sent medical teams ... so what? Everyone sends medical teams as part of disaster relief because that's what's needed most, next to clean potable water. Personally, due to my own experience with Chinese doctors, I wouldn't trust them to pop a zit properly.

No. The issue here is you say China "make the PEOPLE suffer even more" by sending aids. Don't divert the issue and don't try to squirm your way out of this.

Nor was the typhoon that swept the Philippines caused by the Filipinos, yet the callous Chinese leadership thought it fit to add insult to injury and publicly mock them. Shame, shame, shame on China!

Paltry is a matter of opinion, aid can never be enough

No, paltry is a matter of comparison, and China as a fat bully made the slimmest donation of help.

It just shows that the rulers in China always mix friendship with toxic politics.

What have you donated to your Filipino friends in times of disaster?  I bet it was zilch, hence you are not qualified to criticise those who did donate!

Actually, what I said was ...

... her answer is to make the PEOPLE suffer even more by sending paltry disaster relief aid.

If you are going to quote somebody, at least try to get it right, will you?
