The Japs whalers stated they may send their military to defend their illegal whaling activities.
The Australian government has been supporting the Japanese whalers by harassing Sea Shepherd and obstructing Sea Shepherd’s ability to raise funds...
But Norway is currently the largest whaling nation in the world, killing more whales each year than Iceland and Japan combined.
Another unfortunate facet of the hunt is that that Norwegian whalers they tend to go after females - and most of them are pregnant. In fact, 90 percent of harpooned whales turn out to be pregnant females, according to new documentary about whaling in Norway.
Few people in Norway actually want to eat whale meat, so the demand is low, and Norway ends up exporting most of the meat to Japan.

Yes, they do, what a shamne, and they should stop that.

But the original thread is about POACHING SHARKS, and more accurately, fishing for sharks in a no-fishing zone. Who goes to the Galapagos to illegally fish? You need not ask because anything done illegally and you will often find Chinese involved. In this case, it is doubly unscrupulous: the Chinese have overfished the so-called "South China Sea" and adjacent waters, and now they are fishing off the CHilean coast! The Galapagos is a PROTECTED area where NO FISHING should occur, least of all by bloody intruders such as the Chinese.

Yulin should stop making meaningless commentary and instead tell his homeland's authorities to do a better job of doing border entry and exit procedures. Chinese so-called "fishermen" have been known to invade Korean fishing grounds and coastal areas for YEARS and there have been many deadly confrontations. It seems the Chinese authorities actually ENCOURAGE such behavior by CHINESE. I still say: hack their hands off. It's a good and deserved punishment. It's more humane than finning sharks and throwing the live sharks back into the sea.
