As high-speed rails begin sweeping the country, the era of the slow-speed green train has come to an end. Qian Haifeng, a hotel electrician and photography enthusiast, uses his lens to record the travelers who depend on the green trains for their transportation.He spent eight years travelling around China in more than 200 green trains to record ordinary Chinese people's life. Qian said the green trains recording the life of the most common people is the best way to tell the Chinese story, but the arrival of the era of high-speed rail is making these trains gradually fade out of our sight.
