In Chinese, "學习" means "learning" or "studying". Do you think the two characters are hieroglyphic? And how much of their meaning could you guess through the appearances?

Latter, let's have a close look, now I am on the Internet in home_village through the small cellphone!

The bottom of 學 is 子 which means "son" or -'little child'; But the top of 學 is very strange!__ It should be the kid's head and the brain is quite active since the two_*_like symbols seem as stars which show the master is very “bright”!

If you were careful enough, you would have noticed that "There is a opening in the head of 學. If you do well on lessons, parents may praise you saying that "We can see openings in your head!"你脑瓜开窍了!_Our brain is not stone_ or_mellon_like_thing that should have Windows to sense the outside world!

Yes, when you learn something, you must use your head to think and let the brain to communicate with books!

Then, how about 习?
In fact 习 is the simplified form of 習.
The first part of 習 is 羽 which means "feather" or "wings" since it looks like the two arms of a bird. Is 习 the image of 飞 in front of the mirror and the later means "flying" that exactly like "a bird with flying wings"!

The last part of 習 is 白 (which 日 is the Sun and its top stroke shapes like one beam of sunlight! That is why 白 means "not dark"!)

When we learn, we must use our hands to put theory into practice just as baby bird begins to fly!  I deeply understand this as a vocational teacher!
習 is "wings" plus "understanding"? MAYBE!    But here I also have another explaination:
In Chinese 白 might mean "99"!  Why? If you add '一'(one) to 白, you would get 百 (one hundred)!     In this way, 習 should mean "to practise more and more"!

Put in the time (listening, writing and, eventually, speaking),
Enjoy yourself,
Believe you will become fluent,
Then fluency is an inevitable result.

“But, Really Chinese is very very hard language in the world.
