This is quite a normal scene where I have to rent their computer when in China. Their terrible habit is when they spit on the floor.  They gobble food and litter the floor. The keyboards stinks with sticky traces of food. However, some setups are managed quite well.

This is my first picture thread. It was such a trouble getting the pictures uploaded. There were many more and I meant to add the most poignant ones - a young man and a young woman kissing with the computer preventing the man from getting up, another patron viewing porn and completely lost in his isolated cyberworld...

When I returned to the CD Forum later yesterday, my thread was finally shown.  unfortunately, some alien interloper managed to prevent me from visiting the Spiegel website to poach more pictures.

Normal & entertaining it is, nothing else to critize really.

Exactly. So what is the cause of your criticism?

I have been a lot of China's internet cafes,2/3 of people inside would smoke, even though there is NO SMOKING signs on the walls,a minority of people would take their shirt off like the man above. There is take out service for food and beverage.Half of the cafes I go clean the keyboards and computer desks, most of the cafes hire a worker to mop the floor on a daily basis. But the cafe manages have no other ways, because these people are their main financial sources. And now people are rich enough to afford a good computer or several computers at home,so the students don't necessarily go to a cafe to play games.
But there are also good ones which are kept clean and disciplined. There are special rooms just for smoking, the manager would clean the desk and keyboard within 30s after the customer leaves the desk.Really glad to see this.
BTW,I haven't seen a couple kissing on a internet cafe/a person watching porn,is it possible to watch porn now in a internet cafe with police coming every day?So lucky for me.
I forgot how to forget.

Thanks for your insightful contribution. I will try to dig up the picture showing a young couple kissing in a Chinese Internet café.
