In child development theory you cant really bring up the soul in the nature vs nurture debate. The soul is taboo in child development theory. All individual identities have a unique identity/perspective. Identical twins will have different experiences in the womb even before birth. All babies have varying temperament. Acquired traits can be passed on to offspring. So the information of all identities/individuals runs all the way back to Adam and Eve or whatever. All of the experiences and all of that information and the different experiences. The information is physical. The information can only exist inside the body. even if a new, additional window/perspective were created the information would still have to have a single identity or the two identities would be separate. The identity is in the physical body. In the brain. The only place to move the information is to a virtual space that is created inside the brain. Or to put the brain into a robot/better vehicle. Even if you had a soul you could not be consciously in heaven and on earth at the same time. The soul is our unique perspective/information/identity than runs back to Adam and Eve and the Holy Spirit is that Adam and Eve source that links all humans and things/information in the physical world. You cant take information out of a brain and put it somewhere else if the original information is left in the brain so there is no way for humans to escape the physical world and death. The only way is to make the physical vehicle that we exist in immortal. So we have to make our brains last forever. A brain does not need the physical world apart from to exist in so the best idea would be to create separate virtual simulation world for each identity to exist in within their immortal brains and that way we could all be Gods. You could operate two windows or more at once so you could exist as a brain inside a robot or robots/clone or clones, and exist in a virtual world or worlds all at the same time if the brain could handle the information but it would all go back to a single identity/source - which would all lead back to a single God source. A God particle I guess. So-called 'temperament' comes from the God particle. We all all single observers. And the one is the all.

We could put the information from one person into the information of another person like in the movie Being John Malkovich, and not just in the moment but the entire experience but there would still be two separate sources. I wonder what would happen if both sources of information took the entire experience of each other in the same instant. The physical information in each brain would interpret the information differently even though both identities have the exact same information/experience.

If you could make the identities forget that they had a physical source..

We already are robots. But it doesn't matter how many billionaires are involved, money doesn't buy i ...

"Consciousness" is a relative term, referring to the level of awareness a brain/AI has.  Being anthropocentric, we tend to define "consciousness" as an entity having a level of awareness similar to a typical human: the human organism is aware that he exists as a physical entity that possesses a certain color, shape, weight, and mobility.  The human is aware of his physical surroundings and that it follows certain laws of physics, and he is aware of his own thought processes.  Human awareness includes data that is carried to the brain from the five senses; our consciousness includes visual, auditory, olfactory, taste, tactile, pressure, and temperature data from the environment.

Of course, we can design an AI/robot that has even a higher level of consciousness than any human; for example, we can create the robot to even "see" the non-visible light spectrum of the electromagnetic spectrum, such as infrared, radio, ultraviolet, and so forth, allowing the robot to see and perceive so much more of environment.  Think about Star Trek's Geordi La Forge's visors that can take in the entire EM spectrum.

Consciousness also involves IQ: the general intelligence that allows a brain/AI to hold and manipulate data.  The higher the IQ, the higher the complexity of data it can hold and manipulate.  Thus, the higher the IQ, the higher the awareness the entity has of his environment and himself; higher IQ equals a higher level of consciousness.

Yes, you can only copy a person for uploading to a synthetic computer substrate; the original person still remains in his organic body.  The copy will think he is the original person, since identity is based on memories: your perception of your identity is strictly based on memories of past events.

Something to think about: are you not just a clone, a copy, of the previous day's you?  Think about it - every night you go to sleep, your consciousness (active RAM) shuts off, and you die.  Then the next day when you wake up, it's as if someone pushes the "power button" on your brain computer, turning you on and loading the previous days saved data from your hard drive (the memory section of the Limbic System) into your RAM (cerebral cortex).  So when you wake up, a copy, a clone of yesterday's you is copied from your stored memories and loaded into your RAM.  Therefore, every night you go to sleep, you die, and a clone/copy occupies your body the next morning.  So, the question is, do "you" really exist as a continuous person?

So, how can an organic entity achieve extended life-span if uploading is just a clone/copy?  Well, to have a "feeling" of continuity of identity, perhaps nanotechnology can be used to slowly replace your organic neurons in your brain with synthetic material that does not age as much as organic matter.  If your neurons are very slowly replaced by synthetic materials over a course of several years, you will "feel" a sense of self-continuity.

Extinct

We will be extinct soon.
9/11 was an inside job.
No second plane. It was a bomb.Bomb in the other building.
You KNOW without a doubt the videos are fake, right ?!
Planes don't meld into steel and concrete buildings. They crash into them !!!!!!!
It's amazing how the building ate the plane !!!
Imagine those fragile wings cutting slots in massive steel columns !!!!!
How STUPID can they think the people are to believe that crap ??!!

Let us understand the difference between man and machine.
No matter how good the interface between robots is, they are still machines.
Robots could have top most advanced technology with super fast or even close to speed of light for calculation, the difference still exists.
