And what if it is a single parent family,mum is too busy at work,which leaves no time for heart-to-heart conversation.Just too many issues to be confirmed.Being a parent is hard.

Most police will go along with a stern warning if parents ask them. Sometimes it's the only way to get through to a child who is constantly misbehaving.  It's in part psychological as kids tend to be awed by the sight of a policeman saying they will have to lock up the child if he/she/it continues misbehaving.  2 minutes of a police officers time can bring about large changes in young children.
